Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Hardel Private Limited collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers the website at hardel.in and the apps we publish, including Mise. If anything here is unclear, write to info@hardel.in.
1. Who we are
Hardel Private Limited ("Hardel", "we", "us") is a company incorporated in India. We build software for the live-events industry. Our first product is Mise, an event design and AR visualisation app.

2. Scope
This policy applies to the website at hardel.in and to the mobile and web applications published by Hardel, including Mise. Together we call these the services.
It does not cover websites or services run by others that we link to or that you use alongside our apps. Their own policies apply.
3. Data we collect on the website
The website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it loads nothing from third-party servers.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as the IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and the browser used. These logs are used to run and secure the service and are kept under the provider's own retention rules. We do not use them to identify you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We keep that correspondence so that we can reply and refer back to it.
4. Data our apps may collect
What we collect depends on the features you use. We collect data only when you use the relevant feature.
Account details. If you create an account, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address and organisation. We use them to provide the account and to contact you about it.
Content you create. Designs, scenes, images you upload and other content you make in an app are stored so that you can access, edit and share them. This content may include personal data if you put it there.
Device permissions. An app asks for a permission only when a feature needs it. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings, though some features will not work without them.
- Camera, for augmented reality, to show a design at true scale in a real space. Camera images used for augmented reality are processed on your device to render the experience. They are not uploaded to us unless you explicitly save or share a capture.
- Photo library or storage, to import images into a design and to save images and exports you create.
- Network access, to sign in, sync your content and receive updates.
Technical data. To keep the apps working we may collect the device model, operating system version, app version, language setting and crash diagnostics. A crash report may include the state of the app at the time of the crash. We use this data to find and fix problems.
5. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- provide, maintain and improve the services;
- create and manage your account and sign you in;
- store and sync the content you create;
- respond to your messages and support requests;
- understand crashes and technical problems;
- keep the services secure and prevent misuse;
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not use personal data for advertising.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the services, such as hosting, database, file storage, email and crash reporting providers. They act on our instructions and may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Legal requirements. When the law requires it, for example to respond to a lawful request from a court or government authority, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Hardel, our users or others.
- With your consent or at your direction, for example when you share a design with someone.
7. Where data is stored
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by our service providers, which may be located in India or elsewhere. Where data is transferred outside India, we take steps to keep it protected in line with applicable Indian law.
8. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within a reasonable time, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or enforce our terms. Copies in backups are removed as those backups are cycled. Server logs and crash reports are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data or your account;
- stop processing that is based on your consent, by withdrawing that consent.
To make a request, email info@hardel.in with the subject "Data request", from the email address linked to your account where possible. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the time required by law.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it. Some features may stop working without the data they need.
10. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, such as encrypted connections and access controls, together with the security practices of our service providers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your data. Please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
12. Applicable law
We aim to comply with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, as they apply to us. Where the law gives you rights beyond those described here, those rights apply.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page and, for significant changes, tell you through the services or by email. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact and grievances
Questions, requests and complaints about this policy or about how we handle personal data can be sent to info@hardel.in. Please include "Privacy" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your message and work with you to resolve the matter.
